On June 5th Judge Reggie Walton sentenced Lewis “Scooter” Libby to 30 months in jail for a conviction of perjury and obstruction of justice by lying to the FBI during the sham Valerie Plame investigation. Has King’s Dream Come True?

Has King’s dream come true? On the one hand, for almost forty years, Martin Luther King’s legacy has been affirmative action, the legalization of racial discrimination. So much for the dream and “the force of the character and not the color of the skin”. Poor MLK must be turning in his tomb with his name reduced to some Burger King’s meal appellation and his dream totally perverted with the full support of the people he stood for.

On the other hand, the first “black” president will take the oath tomorrow, something Martin Luther King has always dreamed of, an achievement showing that race indeed can be an opportunity. But for whom? Race still being an issue for the world’s media and for the majority on the left that have forever cashed on the “victimization” of the minorities (money for special programs, and votes), our new president has become a symbolic figure, not of “multi-racialism” but of African American achievement. The Fairness Doctrine

Is failing “progressive talk radio” a constitutional right? Liberals in D.C believe so. In the name of fairness, they want to implement an affirmative action-like program that would legally impose radio “Liberal talk” content on Americans. Conservative programs are blamed for their success and finger-pointed for raising the awareness of their active listeners. Conservative talk shows are run by private companies for profit. They are successful because people actively dial in to listen to them. They are successful because they sell lots of advertising. They are successful because they are entertaining.

Also, they are not force-fed on radio listeners who have the choice to turn them on or off. Have any of you listened to Air America once, while driving. Liberal radio is boring, a driving hazard that should be made illegal. We used to have it in Sacramento until KCTC Sacramento switched to ESPN Sports (Air America filed chapt 11 10/13/06). Get a clue! I cannot wait to see how Democrats are going to make the “Fairness doctrine” fit the First Amendment. But they already sold us on legal racial discrimination to end racial discrimination, didn’t they? Where is the ACLU in this case? LOL.

Movies and Reality in the USA

In 1940, Charlie Chaplin Jr. released his first dialogue motion picture “The Great Dictator.”  He played a character named Adenoid Hynkel and his likeness, right down to the mustache was that of Adolph Hitler. It was in true Chaplin form, a comedic satire, mocking Nazism. Some American politicians were offended by the dictating buffoon Chaplin portrayed in “The Great Dictator.” The buffoon was out-witting and out-lasting his reel-time enemies. The offence was not forgotten and later was rekindled and heightened during the McCarthyism era. Chaplin was accused of un-American activities and was suspected as a communism sympathizer.

A gifted story teller, director, writer and producer leaning toward the left in politics, was being spied on by the FBI keeping extensive secret files on him. Eventually tiring of the FBI pressure Chaplin announced: “Since the end of the last war I have been the object of lies and propaganda by powerful reactionary groups; I find it virtually impossible to continue my motion picture work.” He then gave up his US residence and returned to Britain. Bong Hits 4 Jesus – Supreme Court Ruling

Back from France and Happy to see that the Supreme Court has finally shown some common sense by siding with a school that suspended a student for deploying a “bong hits 4 Jesus” banner during an event. The Supremes basically stated that schools can regulate student speech that advocates use of illegal drugs. We talked about it earlier when the ACLU took the case to DC, and today, again common sense rules. [Read more…]

Lebanon: Can We Not Take Sides in a Global World?

The United States decided to take the side of the elected government of Lebanon in its fight against the Fatah Al-Islam militia that took refuge in a Palestinian camp after attacking the military.

$30 to $40 million in military aid is on its way to improve the efficiency of the Lebanese Army that is facing too many armed factions backed by too many countries that have no interest in having peaceful Lebanese countries. The aid will be mostly in vehicles, ammunitions and body armor and US officials have stated that the Lebanese government requested the military assistance program Tuesday (today!). The move will most likely be a strong message toward Syria, suspected to be backing up extremists groups that have been behind recent car bombings and assassinations, and also toward Iran and its Hezbollah’s. Liberal Deception, A Means to an End

The quote defines both aggrieved Islamist and Liberal Democrats, which is probably why they see jihadist more as allies than enemies in their quest for power. The recent arrest of six Muslim refugees from the Balkans for planning an attack to kill US soldiers at Ft. Dix, NJ illustrates this point. The incident raises two issues the liberal media fails to address and Democrats avoid like the plague. First, is misrepresenting the terrorist attacks in order to deceive the American public. The Enemy of My Enemy is My Friend

Lately Liberals seldom miss an opportunity to demonstrate treason. Their hatred for President Bush and conservatives far outweighs their concern for our security or survival. The quote, “I would rather rule in hell than serve in heaven” fits the liberal agenda. If they cannot rule America they will destroy it. Liberals see President Bush and conservative has the greater enemy and al-Qeada and Islamic Terrorist as the lesser enemy.

The refusal of Democrats to support the troops fighting terrorist in Iraq is proof they are willing to ally themselves with the enemy to ensure defeat for an America led by President Bush. The actions of Democrats led by Nancy Pelosi, John Murtha, and et al., are proof of treason. The treasonous rhetoric of Democrats could not have been better illustrated than by Senator Harry Reid’s pronouncement “the war is lost”.  Can you imagine a republican doing the same to President Roosevelt during WWII. A deeply disturbed animal just got his five unnecessary days of fame -by bored blood thirsty media- for the slaughtering of 32 students and teachers in Virginia. (I already forgot his name and won’t glorify him more by saying it, like the other before him, he does not deserve to be called anything but names. His rotting carcass should be hung in a webcam accessible open cage on the campus of the university, to show any copycat what we do to them after they come in the open!).
