The Baker-Hamilton Iraq Study Group; A Path to Surrender and Defeat

“There is no substitute for victory” General Douglas MacArthur

“Neville” James Baker and Lee Hamilton “Chamberlain” submitted their Iraq “Surrender” Group report this week and it’s the talk of the town. The Sunday talk shows were replete with experts agreeing with and critical of the recommendations of the report, but not eventual withdraw.

Islamic Jihadist are pleased as the report gives them exactly what they wanted, a roadmap for U.S. defeat in the Middle East. The report does not mention victory, it’s a list to explain and justify defeat. Liberal democrats are giddy with the report as it is confirmation of their “Defeat with Honor” agenda. While Baker disagrees and says it does not advocate surrender or troop withdraw, actually it does. Baker-Hamilton use “diplo-mese” like setting bench marks for Iraqi achievement before surrendering so American politicians can blame the defeat on Iraqis. [Read more…]

Predictions in Sports or Elections, Who Really Knows?

As election-day quickly approaches the political pollsters, pundits and so-called experts are in high gear pontificating on the certainty of their predictions. The truth be told, they are not prognosticators with a crystal ball, just pundits with an opinion.

The futility of predictions is consistently demonstrated in sports. Take the ALCS between the New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers. The experts pronounced the Yankees would win ALCS series and the World Series. They sang praises about the strength of the great Yankee line up and how the Tigers would not be able to compete with these super stars. Democrats Campaign on Sleaze, Not Issues

The liberal campaign season is in full gear. Void of constructive ideas liberals rely on criticism, political lynching and smear campaigns hyped by their liberal “lap dog” media. In previous campaigns it was forged documents, accusations of substance abuse, and “outing” the V.P.’s daughter as a lesbian, on and on.

This election year the sleazy liberal democrat smear campaign hyped by the media entails the Mark Foley scandal. Today (10/05/06) Drudge reported that, “according to two people close to former congressional page Jordan Edmund, the now famous lurid AOL Instant Message exchanges that led to the resignation of Mark Foley were part of an online prank that by mistake got into the hands of enemy political operatives.”

Instead of campaigning on “real issues” that face America the liberal democrats are employing gutter political tactics and focusing on destructive propaganda. They are utilizing a few of Herr Goebbels Propaganda Principles; #1 – Propagandist must have access to intelligence concerning events and public opinion; #4 – Propaganda must affect the enemy”s policy and action; and #13 – Propaganda must be carefully timed. Thoughts on the Path to 9/11

ABC’s so-called docudrama “The Path to 9/11″ is a grim reminder of the events that shocked this nation five years ago. Instead of re-establishing the unity against a common enemy it has been a catalyst for acrimonious political debate. A movie, a “docudrama”, has also been the conduit to illustrate the hollow and malevolent characteristics of liberalism.

The movie sparked a conversation with a devout Stalinite liberal over the weekend. He attempted to dismiss the movie by saying, “this is a poor subject to use as docudrama”. If this does not demonstrate the hollowness of liberalism, nothing does. The most vicious attack sustained on American soil in our history causing the death of 3000 fellow innocent Americans, is a poor subject to use for a docudrama? So how would liberals compare the docudramas about the events of 9/11 with the docudramas about “Gettysburg”, or “The Longest Day” (D-Day, WWII), or “Midway”, “13 Days” (the Cubin Missile Crisis), the JFK assassination, “Watergate” and of course Pearl Harbor? Don’t Confuse Hatred With No Respect Part 2

In the 06/13/06 blog “Don’t Confuse Hatred With No Respect“ the idea offered was that liberals view the world through a prism of hatred and project that view on anyone that does not agree with their view. Significant examples were given to support this idea. In part II this concept is additionally explored.

First, let’s define some terms. Hatred is hard to define and the dictionary does not do it justice. Webster defines hatred as the passion of hate and hate is defined as an intensely hostile aversion, compounded of anger and fear and centered on a real or supposed cause of injury. In practice the word suggest an intensity that definition does not sufficiently reflect. Webster defines respect as the special esteem or consideration in which one holds another person or thing. So, no respect would be lacking these characteristics.

The most interesting definition was that of liberalism. It was quite extensive and for the sake of brevity a partial definition by Webster will be given. It is an early 19th Century philosophy that has taken varying forms at different times in different places. It is characterized by progressive attitudes, critical of institutions and places its faith in the goodness of man and rationality. It often expresses demands for freedom of expression and equal opportunity. Economic liberalism was a phenomenon of the commercial or industrial classes, favoring free trade and the fixing of wages and prices by competition and opposing state intervention. However, in Britain it was adapted to provide welfare services and social security in conjunction with limited state intervention. [Read more…]

The Liberal Media War Against Bush & America

This quote has been used to explain the various alliances in Middle East conflicts. A review of history will find these alliances are fluid, depend on who is the enemy, the degree of hatred and what is the desired final outcome. The recent conflict between Israel and Hezbollah is a prime example of this fluidity. The Arabs have not allied with their old enemy Persia in this battle against Jews. Arabs see Iran as the bigger threat. Then there is the union between the Hezbollah and Iran with liberals and the liberal media.

 

Let’s examine this unholy alliance. President Bush, capitalism and Christianity is the common enemy. The degree of hatred is extreme. The desired outcome is the destruction of President Bush and establishment of power or control of government. For their part, liberals and the liberal media have employed misinformation, lies and propaganda as the primary strategy to achieve their goal.

This strategy is evident in the reporting on the Israeli-Hezbollah conflict. Liberals attempt to legitimize Hezbollah by referring to them as guerrilla fighters and militia instead of terrorist. They only mention that Hezbollah started the war, has launched over 3,000 Katyusha rockets against Israel, fail to emphasize these rockets have been converted to kill civilians and minimize the killing of innocent Israelis civilians. Educated Ignorance: Does It Threaten Our Future?

Since the advent of the industrial age and transference to the information age education of our youth is essential in ensuring our nation’s ability to compete in the global economy. Yet, assessments of our education system are frightening. In comparison to other industrial nations the American youth score in the bottom half on the basic subjects and science, but score at the top in self esteem.

Thomas Sowell noted, “One of the many failings of our educational system is that it sends out into the world people who cannot tell rhetoric from reality. They have learned no systematic way to analyze ideas, derive their implications and test those implications against hard facts.” He added, “These educated people will have developed no ability to analyze opposing sides of issues… and learning only how to label, dismiss and demonize ideas that differ from what they have been led to believe. Treason Pure and Simple

Treason, it seems like this issue will not go away. The issue was addressed in articles posted in the Vonfrederick blog on Nov 13, 2005, “Treason or Politics?” and again on Apr. 8, 2006, “Who is Committed to Victory?” Now with the recent article published by the New York Times that exposed a secret and legal government program to track terrorist funding, this word has once again been attributed to the liberal contribution to the nation’s War on Terrorism.

Webster defines treason as the act or attempted act of working for the enemies of the state; betrayal of trust, disloyalty to a cause. Treason is defined in the U.S. Constitution,

Article III, section 3, 1.Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. It’s pretty simple and straight forward.

Now consider extensive examples of liberal politician conduct and public statements in the liberal media that betray the trust of the American people and U.S. military fighting the terrorist; repetitive statements disloyal to the U.S. cause and adhering to the enemy cause. It would be excusable if rare “slips of the tongue”, but they are not. It is consistent and continual behavior and comments that harm the security of Americans at home and abroad. [Read more…]

Don’t Confuse Hatred With No Respect

I have given some thought to liberal responses in various blog articles and letter to the newsletter editor. Their consistent accusations suggest a hatred for liberals, which could not be more wrong. Just because an admitted conservative questions liberal beliefs or the tenants of the liberal religion, they are not espousing hatred. I believe I speak for most conservatives when I offer this message to liberals. Don’t confuse hatred with a complete lack of respect. It’s the behavior, Stupid!

Think not? Approach this theory with analysis of behavior and some critical thinking. Liberals continuously demonstrate a hatred for President Bush, because he overcame democratic voting fraud and beat the dunce Al Gore and pathetically dishonest John Kerry. Liberals exhibit a consistent hatred of American society, corporate America, our military, our Constitution, when it opposes liberalism; a passionate hatred for God, Christianity, and the Ten Commandments or just about anything that is contrary to the teachings of the great liberal god, Karl Marx or violates his Communist Manifesto.

Liberals demonstrate a narcissistic arrogance that is obvious to all but them. They promote the worst of the species as political leaders then chastise those who don’t recognize their greatness. There is no hatred for their icons, only disrespect and disgust. [Read more…]

Illegal Immigration: Simple Remedies

The daily news and our blogs illustrate illegal immigration continues to be an issue politicized by politicians and the old media and the topic of endless discussion across the country. Yet, there is a total disconnect between 80% of Americans and these politicians, belt way pundits and old media. These folks have managed to “pigeon-hole” the debate on this topic to encompass invalid issues of the need for workers, the need for new laws and deportation of 12 million illegal aliens. Politicians, pundits and most everyone completely ignore real causes and real solutions.

There have always been illegal aliens sneaking across our border. However, illegal aliens of old were small in number and did not immediately join the entitlement culture. History has proven that twisting policy and laws like a pretzel to accommodate “guest workers” or illegal aliens has failed miserably and created more problems. [Read more…]
