“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it” General Douglas MacArthur
While in Oregon recently, B. Hussein Obama illustrated naive absurdity when he said, “Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, these countries are tiny compared to the Soviet Union. They don’t pose a serious threat to us the way the Soviet Union posed a threat to us.” Remember, it was al-Qaida supported by small terrorist states, not Russia, that attacked US embassies, military compounds, the USS Cole and the World Trade Center. According to Obama, these are not serious threats.
Experts don’t share Obama’s view and for good reason. While “Neville” Obama announces his plan for “tough talk” he illustrates his elitist arrogance as our enemies prepare for battle. Lost on “Neville” Obama is Ayatollah Khomeini’s command for his followers “to perpetuate the revolution both at home and abroad.”
Amir Taheri has explained how since al Qaeda has focused most of its energies on fighting in Iraq the movement have all but disappeared from the Caucasus, Southeast Asia, Kashmir and the Arabian Peninsula. Defeats suffered in Iraq have forced al Qaeda to cooperate even more with Iranian and Syrian regimes that they once regarded as ideological enemies.
Charles Krauthammer details how Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has initiated an aggressive campaign to recruit and deploy proxies for Iran in the Middle East. Hamas is launching rockets into Israel from the Gaza Strip. Hezbollah is rearming with Iranian rockets shipped through Syria and preparing for the next round of fighting with Israel. Syria is building up forces in the Golan Heights frontier with Israel. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards is training and equipping Shiite extremist militias and helping the Taliban attack NATO forces in Afghanistan.
Al-Qaida’s, Ayman al-Zawahiri describes Iraq as the centerpiece of its war with America and insists the Iraqi insurgency is under its direct leadership. He claims the long-term goals are to make Iraq an Islamic state and to use it to establish a caliphate of Islamic rule across the region.
Quietly Ahmadinejad continues to expand his sphere of influence and base of operations in the western hemisphere. Robert Maginnis describes how Iran has recruited Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez to Iran’s Islamic revolution. Chavez has allowed Venezuela to become Tehran’s Latin America base of operations. Ahmedinejad is working with Chavez to militarize the country, grow terrorist groups, develop a nuclear program and do whatever possible to hurt the US. Ahmedinejad is establishing an operational capability for Hezbollah in Venezuela. This “Latin-Persian” axis provides Iran geographical access from which to launch Hezbollah terrorists against the U.S. And the NIE reports Al-Qaida is stepping up its efforts to sneak terror operatives into the U.S. and Venezuela would serve that purpose.
The relationship between Chavez and Ahmedinejad is based on a shared deep hatred for the U.S.
While Obama shares a Marxist philosophy with Chavez, I doubt he and the “Hate America First” liberal democrats hate America to the degree of Chavez and their terrorist allies. But, they do share a common interest in a U.S. retreat from Iraq to embarrass President Bush and America.
While “Neville” Obama talks of “tiny” countries like Iran and Venezuela posing no serious threat Iran continues to develop nuclear weapons and boast of annihilating Israel and the U.S. Chavez is fostering Islamic alliances with Marxist Latin American governments. While Radical Islam is waging a holy war against us “Neville” Obama talks of diplomatic negotiations and using his superior intellect to convince terrorist we can all get along. Now just what is he going to say to these terrorist? Since Iran needs more time to acquire nuclear capabilities it is no wonder Islamic terrorist pronounce their support for Obama, the “Useful Idiot”.
