Welcome to the European Union. In order to be a member, countries have to pledge among other things that they will limit their debts and will preserve a sustainable economy.

For the past ten years, Greece has pretended to follow the rules while spending like crazy and discreetly borrowing tons of money from, yes, Goldman Sachs.

The latter company contacted the Greek government and offered easy money in exchange of things like lottery revenues, high interest rates, etc…

That has lasted ten years and Greece finally came out of the closet after refusing another outrageous “helpful” hand from the American “financial” company.

Greece is broke and the other partners of the European nations will have to pick up the bills to prevent the country from collapsing and taking the union with it. Also, emerging ongoing investigation show that Italy and Spain might have done the same thing. Welcome to the 21 century when banks can literally buy countries!

Nothing illegal was done of course by Goldman Sachs. They are clean as a whistle and its executives might be so proud! They can make presidents, live on taxpayer’s bailout money, purchase poor European countries, and destabilize the world’s financial market! Money talks and BS walks.

At the end, while American media blame the European Union passage to a single currency and the financial rules imposed to its members, I cannot help thinking that the one partly responsible for the American meltdown could end up starting THE global meltdown. Remember: If Europe fails, America will be hurt too.

During the 2008 campaign the Obama worshippers proclaimed he was the “new messiah” and “sort of a God” above it all. They criticized the “VP” candidate Sarah Palin (an accomplished executive) as lacking experience to “lead” and touted the messiah’s experience as a law professor, a community organizer and ability to vote present as the experience needed for president; maybe a liberal president.

Obama knows being a president is above his pay grade. Instead of governing he is making self aggrandizing speeches almost daily trying to convince Americans he is not the “Bolshevik” he is. His over exposure is no different than the Stalin’s, Castro’s, Mao’s and Saddam’s of the world. Instead of murals and statute’s he uses TV and Internet. He has usurped the TV media, traveled to more venues and spent more money in perpetual campaign than Bush and the other narcissist Bill Clinton did in eight years. What has America gained from the Marxist messiah’s policies and over exposure? A decline on the international scene, a decline in national security and a failing economy!

Let’s just look at some results of his catastrophic economic policies. Team Obama and the democrat Congress has given us a $1.6 trillion dollar deficit and increased the debt ceiling to $14 trillion dollars. And despite the new messiah’s pronouncement that he “has broken the back of the recession” and “the U.S. is now in recovery”, credible economist disagree. Nouriel Roubini, who predicted the current financial crisis, forecasted the U.S. economy outlook remains very dismal and is in trouble. Arthur Laffer warned that despite sporadic signs of growth the economy is headed for a “train wreck” in 2011 because of Obama’s unprecedented debt and increased tax rates. John Cogan forecast a dismal economy due to the uncertainty about Obama’s economic and tax policies. The CBO reports GDP might reach 1.8%, unemployment will average 9.8%, deficits will be more than $1 trillion for years to come and the massive debt burden will imperil our country’s future and push public debt levels to 60% of GDP this year.

Obama’s federal budget deficit in 2010 is $1,565 trillion and represents 10.6% of GDP. If his policies continue after 2012 the projections for the debt-to-GDP ratio will rise to 73% in 2015 and 77% by 2020. However, Moody Investors Service reported this understates the overall US debt level and including federal, state and local debt this ratio would be well over 100% in 2020.

The significance of this debt is illustrated by the fears the European Union is experiencing due to the weakening economies and increasing debt in Portugal, Spain and Greece. Portugal is reporting an economic and political crisis because the country has a deficit of 9.3% of GDP for 2009. The point being the US ratio is higher. Couple that with Moody’s warning that unless measures are taken to reduce the U.S. budget deficit or the economy rebounds significantly, the U.S. is at serious risk of losing its AAA government bond rating.

Economist say the deficit could be brought under control if the remaining $500 billion of Obama’s $800 billion stimulus package is not spent and the $500 billion in TARP funds the banks have repaid are refunded to the U.S. Treasury. But what does the Over Exposed-Egotistical-Wanna Be Dictator-in-Chief do? He continues to spend the stimulus funds and proposes a second stimulus package; takes the money the banks are repaying and spends it; and proposes increases in payroll, corporate, estate and income taxes. Arthur Laffer predicts this economic train wreck will end with Obama’s defeat in 2012. Let’s hope so!!!

From the AP, Feb 1: “President Barack Obama sent Congress a $3.83 trillion budget on Monday that would pour more money into the fight against high unemployment, boost taxes on the wealthy and freeze spending for a wide swath of government programs. The deficit for this year would surge to a record-breaking $1.56 trillion, topping last year’s then unprecedented $1.41 trillion gap. The deficit would remain above $1 trillion in 2011 although the president proposed to institute a three-year budget freeze on a variety of programs outside of the military and homeland security as well as increasing taxes on energy producers and families making more than $250,000.”

How much more of our children’s money should be wasted on stupid programs that don’t work? Are these the changes you guys have been waiting for? How can one spend money on freezing the spending? What about freezing the waste right now? How much pork is this covering and how many lobbyists have been involved?

Yes he can…ignore the issues and keep on spending his way out of power while China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran kick him around!

Our tax dollars should be used to defeat terrorist, not defend them… Senator elect Scott Brown

The teleprompter president was a competent community organizer but the job of president is way above his pay grade. Everything Obama touches reeks of disaster, from the clowns he has appointed to team Obama, to the economy to national security. This can not be better demonstrated than team Obama’s imbecilic decision to prosecute Khalid Sheik Mohammad (KSM) and four other terrorist in civil court in New York City. What could prompt such an idiotic move?

Let’s forget for a minute that these terrorist were already being prosecuted in military tribunals, had pled guilty and KSM requested martyrdom by execution. Forget that when KSM was captured in Pakistan he demanded an attorney and to be taken to New York City. Compound the stupidity by Attorney General Eric Holder claiming that he consulted with his wife and brother and not his bungling messiah. Doesn’t that just exude confidence? Team Obama and liberals continue to attempt to justify this idiocy.

One claim is the U.S. is a country of laws and prosecution of the terrorist should follow the Geneva Convention and U.S. Constitution. This is so bogus it’s laughable. The terrorist are not signers of the Geneva Convention and are not subject to its terms. Foreign Islamic terrorist captured on the battlefield are not American citizens and not afforded protections of the U.S. Constitution.

Holder and Obama the claim a public trial will repair or improve the international reputation of the U.S., especially with Muslim nations. The claim of the truly ignorant! The nations that don’t like the U.S. will not change because of some phony show trial. Consider that during Senate hearings a few senators pointed out how the rules of evidence and procedure in civil criminal trials, and the capricious nature of juries could result in acquittals. Holder’s response was that failure is not an option and even if acquitted the terrorist would not be released. That’s incredible! Right out of the annals of dictatorial regimes Holder and Obama announced the outcome. Just like with the participants in the “Valkrie” plot, terrorist will be tried, convicted and punished; but not before KSM and the other terrorist make a three ringed spectacle of the trial allowing the world to see through this charade. Typical liberal brilliance!

Think not? Terrorist Ali Abd al-Aziz’s attorney has announced they will not deny their role but “would explain why they did it.” Or take Team Obama’s move of the trial of Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani, of 1998 US Embassy bombings fame, from military tribunals to the U.S. District Court. His civilian attorneys have filed motions seeking to dismiss charges for lack of a speedy trial. A liberal activist judge could dismiss the charges on technicalities. Will team Obama refuse to release him from custody creating more Habeas Corpus motions and millions more dollars for defense lawyers?

Another Holder and team Obama screw up was the move of the jurisdiction of the Christmas Day Bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, from military jurisdiction to the civil criminal justice systems hours after he was taken into custody. Instead of interrogating him to gather information about the new terrorist networks in Yemen, they gave him his Miranda rights and he “lawyered up”; thus preventing the gathering of valuable intelligence that will protect American lives.

Of course the man-boy claims this not his fault. Team Obama blame President Bush for not prosecuting the terrorist. But the inconvenient truth is an army of trial attorneys, including Holder’s law firm, filed endless motions and other delaying tactics to block prosecutions and make it impossible to put the terrorist on trial.

In fact, team Obama’s and his liberal enablers attempted justifications and rationalization for public trials in civil courts is just deflection. They continue to steer the debate away from what I believe is the real reason for civil trials. It’s about money. Defense lawyers will charge the taxpayer hundreds of millions of dollars to defend foreign enemy combatants in civil courts. Not only is it unconstitutional and foolish, it is more of Obama’s Chicago style corruption. The trial lawyers contributed millions to Obama and liberal democrats and expect quid pro quo. This is pay back. Also, Holder was a senior partner for Covington & Burling law firm and was instrumental in legal defense work for many terrorist at Guantanamo. Does the term conflict of interest seem appropriate here?

The U.S. Constitution, Art. III, defines treason as… adhering to our enemies or giving them aid or comfort. Is Obama and Holder committing treason or just “acting stupidly”? Is Obama and Holder selling out our national security for the benefit of their trial lawyer sponsors, or are they just inept and clueless?

It took 100 days for our war president to go back to a working Bush-era plan and follow his General’s recommendation: a surge similar to the one in Iraq to pacify Afghanistan and empower the local authorities.

100 days…we won the first Gulf War in 100 hours and Napoleon came back from exile and terrified the enemies of France for 100 days before his final defeat at Waterlo. Three months for something he was quite articulate and adamant before becoming the commander on chief. Judgement…decision…is he out of his league?

Way to go! Media around the world called it the “guessing game” and Obama is again embracing a Bush era policy completely foreign to whatever he has promised on the campaign trail. To you, this is a good example to what happens when a do good-feel good liberal meets reality.

Gitmo stays open while military tribunal are still the norm. Wiretapping is still going on and extreme rendition has also been adopted by the new administration. After all, even our current attorney general is quoted telling Congress that “we are within our rights and within the law to detain that –these- person” and that indefinite detention was “consistent with due process”.

And to top it up, on Khalid Sheik Mohammed’s civil trial, the former lawyer Obama has declared on national television that the american people would come to term with providing the mastermind of 9-11 with “all the legal privilefges of an american citizen” when the latter is convicted “and the death penalty applied to him!” So much for due process…I guess he missed the class about innocent before proven guilty at Cloumbia and Harvard…lol

The cerebral candidate visited all “57 states”; attributed his parents blessed meeting to the Selma march which was fours years later; advocated sending Iraqi translators to Afghanistan where they don’t speak the Afghan language; bragged that decisions about human rights was above his “pay grade” and his pending anointment would slow the rise of the oceans, heal the planet and end war. Still waiting!

After his anointment the new emperor embarrassed himself when he gave the British Prime Minister worthless DVDs that were incompatible with European media players, made fun of Special Olympians on national TV and believed the Olympic Committee worshipped him enough to give Chicago the games. He humiliated himself by referring to terrorist acts as man-made disasters and jumping to conclusions to accuse white cops of acting stupidly then cautioning Americans not to jump to conclusion about the Muslim terrorist creating a man-made disaster at Ft. Hood.

While Americans struggle it is “party time” for Obama. He has crisscrossed the country on several dozen of fundraisers, golf engagements, meaningless legislation signings and date nights. He has partied more in ten months than President Bush did in eight years. BO has taken more international vacation junkets than President Bush and used them as “Apology Tours” to trash America and gain favor with tin horn Marxist dictators and enemies of America. He informed Muslim nations that Islam was important factor in American history and America is not a “Christian Nation.” What? The Wimp-in-Chief sheepishly begged for a new beginning with Iran resulting in Ayatollah Ali Khamenei wondering “who is making decisions in America” while the Iranian people burned Obama in effigy. The wimp obeys the Russians and betrays the Poles and Czechs. He tried to bully the North Koreans to stop their nuclear missile program and they answered by launching new long range missiles.

Obama’s lack of executive experience is obvious. The economic idiot-in-chief advises the EU to follow his insane Marxist policies and they decline his advice to “bankrupt their treasuries with deficit spending” or follow him on his “road to hell.” Here in America the O’s brainless zombies have passed the economy killing stimulus bill and are trying to pass economy and freedom killing Obamacare, cap and tax and card-check which will tax us into oblivion. The Marxist messiah has given Americans a $12 trillion dollar debt with plans to expand unfunded liabilities to $100 trillion and increased the deficit to a mere $2 trillion dollars. He increased “official” unemployment to 10.2% with “real” unemployment at 20%.

The three stooges (Obama, Pelosi and Reid) led by the man-child president are collaborating to destroy the American economy and put an end to economic and constitutional freedoms. Obama created an administration of incompetent fools, and appointed corrupt buffoons as cabinet secretaries and radical Marxist as czars. $829 billion!!! Could you run it by me again? We moved to a Government run healthcare system to cover our huge amount of uninsured. Interestingly, the numbers of people that the plan is supposed to help shrunk with time. It was around 50 million people during the campaign and all the way to August 09. Out of the blue, it went down to 30 million in the President’s speeches and now, papers are talking about 18 million people who cannot afford health care. Here is a quick and cheap fix: give 1 million to each of these identified 18 million and turn them into instant millionaires with no excuse not to get healthcare. Also, pass a couple of laws to prevent insurers not to deny coverage for existing conditions, define care that should be reimbursed and cosmetics, cap prices on things like frame for glasses, ambulance rides, X ray or crutches and monitor and punish fraud and abuses on both client and provider side. That would save us $811 billion people!

Steve Wynn, Wynn Resorts, appeared on Fox News Sunday (10/11/09) with Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm. Chris Wallace asked Wynn if he saw any turn around in the economy. Wynn’s response and the following exchange with Granholm is revealing as it illustrated the total ineptness of Liberal Democrats and the philosophical failures of Liberalism.

Wynn said, “No, in the sense that I think that the priorities of the administration should have been more directly focused on job creation… And the most powerful weapon and the tool that the government has for that is its tax policy. If the government had used its power to restrain its tax collection they would have given everybody who runs small businesses, large businesses, a chance to hire more people and that could have been done an entirely different way. With eight or $900 billion we could have created four or five million jobs, which would have made a big difference. Government has never increased the standard of living of one single human being in civilization’s history. For some reason that simple truth has evaded everybody…The people that are paying the price for this juggernaut of federal spending are the middle class and the working class of America.

Granholm then showcased her incompetence and inherent flaws of liberalism. She whined, “It’s just so simplistic to say that! With all due respect… to say that government has never created a job or increased the standard of living… There are a lot of people who are grateful that in this country we have a minimum wage… who are grateful that they have access to Medicare and Medicaid. And I hope that we get access further to additional health care for those who are uninsured.”

Liberals just don’t get it! Reality and facts are a foreign concept. Take minimum wage. It is a job killer and is responsible for the 52% unemployment rate for unskilled teens and those entering the labor market for the first time. I doubt they are grateful. Medicare and Medicaid are going bankrupt with more than $50 trillion dollars in unfunded liability. Not a shining reference for socialized medicine. Government run health care is a proven failure.

The facts nullify Granholm’s credibility. In her two terms as governor she has demonstrated total failure in executive management. She has overseen the loss of 630,000 Michigan jobs and Michigan is expected to lose another 370,000 jobs in the next 14 months. In “simplistic” terms, the liberal democrat’s governance will have lost one million Michigan jobs and 1.4 million Michiganders now live below the poverty level.

In Detroit, governed by liberal democrats for decades, the economic condition is worse. The unemployment rate is 30%, social services agencies are struggling to provide food, clothing and shelter and 33% of its population lives below the poverty line. The democrat plan was to give Detroit residents that met certain criteria a $3,000 stimulus checks, referred to as “Obama money”, to help pay bills and rent or find temporary housing. The result was 35,000 people lined up for “Obama money” causing riots.

Not to worry, Obama and Granholm have a vision. Democrats will covert the state to an all-green technology that will create 40,000 new jobs by 2020. Then using fuzzy liberal math and grateful Michiganders she will proclaim a 960,000 job deficit a success. Using the standard liberal methods of lies, fuzzy math and misinformation, Granholm, Team Obama and democrats will claim their Marxist policies a success. Instead, Granholm revealed that she and her liberal democrat comrades are intellectually vacant and inept and the polls show more Americans are noticing.

Throughout history Marxist have impoverished their people with liberalism and liberal elitist ignore the failures.Let’s look at just a few.

Lenin and Stalin implemented Marxism in the U.S.S.R. causing economic and cultural failure and ultimate collapse. Hitler, Mussolini, Mao, Ho Chi Min, Pol Pot, et al, forced Socialism on their people, murdered millions while devastating their countries. Castro enforced Communism in Cuba and turned a thriving island into poverty.

FDR employed his disastrous socialist programs prolonging the Great Depresseion and sowing the seeds of failure. The liberal ponzi scheme, Social Security, is bankrupt. His housing welfare program, Fannie Mae, failed and was a cause of the current economic meltdown. LBJ’s War on Poverty failed miserably and has buried the American taxpayer with trillions of dollars of debt. His Medicare is bankrupt. In nine months Obama’s Marxism gave America a $1.4 trillion deficit.

Liberals have destroyed the once respected American education system. In forty years they have moved America from the top rank of industrial nations to the bottom quarter. U.S. students have been so dumbed-down that they can no longer compete in math, science, literature or history. That explains Obama! Liberals have taught American students to celebrate their stupidity. They rank number one in high self esteem. Obama was celebrated for his failures when he was given the Nobel Peace prize for accomplishing absolutely nothing.

Liberals exhibit failure when dealing with catastrophic events. Take Hurricane Katrina. The people just sat around and waited for their liberal democrat government to take care of them. Democrats failed, much of the city is still in shambles and they blame President Bush. Liberals ignore conservative communities in Florida and Iowa that were hit with hurricanes and floods. They did not wait for liberal democrat mismanagement and immediately responded. They have since rebuilt most of the destroyed homes and buildings.

The Obama recession has hit all fifty states. The states in the worse economic shape are run by democrats. The longer democrats have been in control the worse off the states are. California and Michigan are two shining examples of failing democrat states. Detroit is an example of a failing democrat city. While thousands of liberal minions embarrass themselves by lining up for non-existent “Obama money”, admitting they have no idea where he gets it; Michigan’s failed democrat Governor Jennifer Granholm is paraded around as some economic expert. Like all other mentally challenged liberals she is singing Obama’s praises and touting failed liberal policies like minimum wage, Social Security, Medicare and other job and economy killing policies as the answer to this recession. Delusional liberals are incapable of rational thought and instead just celebrate their failures.
