A Man-Boy Struggles With Reality 2

“Those who study jihad will understand why Islam wants to conquer the whole world” Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini (1942)

The Feb. 8th Vonfrederick blog article explored the deceptive economic fabrications Obama and his liberal disciples are repeating adnauseam. It should be obvious that the Political Activist in Chief is “winging it”. His incompetence in economics and governance is not to be outdone by his arrogant naive in foreign matters and warped sense of history.

It did not take long for the Marxist messiah’s “Hate America First” upbringing to surface. He signaled a move toward weakness to our Islamic enemies by offering his first presidential interview to the “Muslim world” via a Saudi-owned TV station instead of to American media. While putting America second was bad enough, his arrogant rambling was delusional. He said he wanted “a return to the same respect and partnership that America had with the Muslim world as recently as 20 or 30 years ago.” What mutual respect? As Amir Taheri noted Obama refers to “an illusionary past in the Muslim world that was in fact plagued by turmoil” [Read more…]

Oink Oink – Pig Alert

“You can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig” said President Obama trying to be funny and attacking Palin in front of a laughing crowd. That was not long ago, when he was still walking on water and telling you what you wanted to hear.

I have news for you Mister President: “You can put 20% real stimulus lipstick on Pork, it is still 80% Pork barrel!”

Tell me how millions for food stamps, for Hollywood, for healthcare for families earning up to $60k or for children of illegal immigrants, for research for a better car battery (one that we would not recharge using polluting power plants?), for assistance of the one most impacted by the recession, digitization of the healthcare data, stabilization of State budgets (I quote the bill: to avoid reductions in essential services and counterproductive State and local taxes), EPA state and tribal assistance grants (Casinos?), grants for airports (less flights and more restaurants?), grants for intercity rail (most Urban communities are not designed for mass transit!), grants for public and Indian housing, assisted housing energy retrofit, assisted home ownership opportunity program, and most important of all, monies set aside for management and oversight of the programs. (Homeland security will get $2 millions and all the other will get $10 to $20! Priorities are set!) [Read more…]

A Man-Boy Struggles With Reality

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed, and hence clamorous to be led to safety, by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.” H.L. Mencken

It has taken only a few weeks for the Man-Boy messiah to expose both his ineptitude and Marxist agenda. In efforts provide cover for his incompetence brain-dead liberals deflect, misdirect and lie on such a massive scale that it would make Joseph Goebbels proud.

Take the economy. In a speech to his congressional democrat minions at their Kingmill retreat, the new messiah reiterated the liberal myth. He whined about inheriting this economy and President Bush left it to him with a big bow. Yet the Man-Boy ignores the fact that President Bush also inherited a recession and did not whine like a child. [Read more…]

An $800 Billion Mistake

Guys – Porky has been fed and nothing will happen until the “pork barreled” bill has served all the special interests that barely elected the “Gifted one”. Cannot wait to see what the hundreds of millions of neighborhood rehabilitation activities are going to translate into – it also seems like ACORN and the other will get some of it! Go for it: YES YOU CAN!….but only for now.

Also note below the $2700 per every man and child in my district and remember that not all of them pay taxes. Who should I write a check to? Can I opt for an IOU? After all California is going to send me one instead of the extra money they owe me for over paying my taxes! (I Owe You: IOU (debt), an acknowledgment of debt) [Read more…]

Bad Economy? Ignore Facts and Blame Bush

During the riots of the late 1960’s and early 1970’s the blacks burned down and looted their communities. A decade later their communities were still rubble. Investors and banks did not want to lose money and would not reinvest in these areas as they were “bad risks”. This was termed “red lining”.

Jimmy Carter and his liberal congress passed the Community Reinvestment Act (1977). For the intellectually challenged liberals, this law forced banks and investors to make high risk loans and outlawed “red lining”.

In 1993 Bill Clinton and his liberal cronies expanded the CRA and forced financial institutions to make even more high risk loans. If they adhered to common sense credit standards and did not increase the risky loans to those unable to repay them, the Clinton administration would levy heavy fines or deny requested expansions or mergers. Banks still balked at losing money. The liberal answer was more involvement by the quasi-government agencies, Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac. They purchased these bad loans from the banks so the liberal housing welfare program could continue at tax payer expense, even though economist warned this would result in a future economic crisis. Changes

FUNNY! The changes we have been waiting for are finally coming – Amazingly, the same people who attacked Sarah Palin are now supporting a “politically green” Caroline Kennedy (real co-author of many books with no voting records and no political experience, but with the name recognition of Paris Hilton) and whatever made the former “unqualified” for a VP job makes the latter “fresh” for Senate. The same way, the people who voted out Hillary at the primaries because they were tired of the Clinton dynasty are now applauding Obama’s Clintonite cabinet and the perpetuation of the Kennedy senatorial line at all cost. Also, experience counts, President Elect Obama was considering appointing his old politically inexperienced friend Valerie Jarret as senator of Illinois, but she “removed” herself once the “Bribojevich” scandal erupted and she got a cosy job at the White House instead. And finally, Biden, away from the flood lights, has secured “his” senatorial seat by temporarily putting a faithful “seat warmer” in charge while waiting for his son Beau to take over once he retires from the military. Obama’s Uncertainty, Depression or Recession

What will 2009 bring? While predicting the future is guess work, accurate predictions are merely educated guesses based on objective assessments of current events and a healthy knowledge of history.

Prior to the elections some economist predicted that if Obama was elected the stock market and economy would suffer major declines escalating the crisis. These dire predictions were not mere anti-Obama rhetoric but educated guesses based on an objective assessment of empirical and historical data and current events. So far, the predictions have been accurate. The day after Obama’s election the stock market crashed and has since lost more than 42% of previous value. The housing market, consumer index and GDP have continued to decline, businesses are downsizing and unemployment rates are increasing. Many are fearful of a depression. Why? Intellectually vacant liberals blame President Bush. Others understand economic realities, are aware of historical similarities and recognize the crisis is a confluence of many events.  [Read more…]

The Intolerant Plead for Tolerance

A common definition of ignorance is a lack of knowledge or sophistication. While the dictionary defines stupidity as a slow mind, or given to unintelligent decisions or acts, I prefer the definition associated with the act, as in the act of ignorance.

The elections of 2008 clearly demonstrated the stupidity of a very large segment of the American public. This would include the 52% that voted for Obama and the supporters that did not vote. Initially, I believed the stupidity was a personal opinion based on conversations with liberal associates and respondents on this blog. As time wore on it became apparent that the critical thinking deficiencies among liberals was staggering. The stupidity demonstrated by liberals who called talk radio programs, or interviewed in the “man on the street” segments with the Sean Hannity program, or interviewed by TV media, was overwhelming. Change We Can Believe In?

This is too funny. I have only been away for three weeks, on vacation back home to Corsica, and the Clintons and their administration are already back in the White House. I could not believe it when my folks at home told me Billary would be State Secretary – no way, not after the vicious things the Clinton said and did to OBObama! And she has no experience beside trailing her Hubby on official trips and drinking tea with the other wives.

What about Health? At least she has some experience if she learned from her failures – LOL. You guys wanted change and you got the”same old, same old”  Washingtonite elite. What was it again: “I am the one we have been waiting for!”, “change we can believe in! – yeah right! Show me changes!

How Long Before Buyers Remorse?

Louis Farakhan’s new messiah won the election. It was not the landslide liberal democrats are proclaiming. It was not the mandate for the “progressive” agenda that John Podesta announced on Fox News Sunday. It was a sound defeat of the moderate Republican candidate, not conservative values. Including the 1.5 to 2 million fraudulent votes that the messiah did not need, the Marxist messiah won by about the same margin President George Bush beat John Kerry in 2004. Not one liberal democrat identified that 52% – 48% victory a landslide or agreed the 4% margin was a mandate.

Already we are starting to hear some in the liberal press express some “buyer’s remorse”. On Wednesday night after the election Charlie Rose and Tom Brokaw were discussing the messiah and admitted they “did not know anything about him.” Newsweek’s Evan Thomas and Jon Mechan referred to the messiah as “a slightly creepy cult of personality.” While these concepts have been substantiated repeated in interviews with liberals, even by respondents in Eric’s blog (Mr. President, 11/4/08), what was really taking place was a hedging of bets. It was a silent admission that the media is extremely biased and endorsed him, failed to objectively vet him, have a foreboding of a pending failed presidency and trying to reestablish some credibility.
