Return to Somalia.

Crime, Education, Politics, Terrorism, Violence

The US government has announced a $10 million dollar program to train and arm the Somalia’s embattled government forces. They are currently surrounded in the capital city of Mogadishu and kept alive and standing by the African Union forces. These forces have been mandated by the UN to protect the “legitimate” local government against the various Islamic factions and armed clans fighting for power. A local Islamic leader has already said that these arms and ammunitions funneled through the UN forces will eventually end up in their hands anyways and one must wonder what the point is for the US to suddenly come forward and decide to help this symbolic remnants of legitimacy in Somalia. The UN, the African Union, and America have proven unable to restore peace, order, law and a working government in Somalia. The Clinton administration failure started with a highly mediatized landing by Marines and ended with the dragging and mutilating of American corpses in Mogadishu. With the War on Terror and the fight against Al Qaeda, the fighting was “sub-contracted” to Ethiopian forces backed up by US remote strikes from the French controlled territory of Djibouti. Ethiopian troops withdrew recently and nobody is really able to fight that US proxy war against Islamic and terrorist groups in Somalia. Will money do the trick? Will sending military advisers to train Somali soldiers in Djibouti do the trick? How long until we will have to send self sufficient ground troops there, with the heavy weaponry and support that was lacking under Clinton? How long before the US must commit more than money? Is Obama warming up to the doctrine of “peace through superior fire power?”

Liberal’s Delusional Faith in a False God

Crime, Education, Politics, Terrorism, Violence

One of the most important talents for success in politics is the ability to make utter nonsense sound not only plausible but inspiring. Barack Obama has that talent… Thomas Sowell

Recently when Rush commented that if al-Qaeda wanted to destroy the U.S. they better hurry if they wanted to beat Obama. From the state of our economy, Obama’s tyrannical policy and the intellectual vacancy of liberals, I think he is right on.

While discussing the Marxist messiah’s economic plan with a liberal co-worker it became apparent that willful ignorance is a common trait among liberals. During the campaign the co-worker blamed the slowing economy on President Bush and his tax cuts and claimed Obama’s plan to “jump start” the economy with more government spending and an expanded government role would fix the economy. In true liberal form he supported his position with erroneous historical and economic data and claimed Clinton gave us the best economy in 50 years and gave President Bush a surplus. When informed that credible economists were predicting a stock market crash24040200 and severe recession if Obama was elected the co-worker responded with some bumper sticker democrat slogans. The co-worker was given hard economic and historical data and challenged to cite his sources to support his Liberal Fantasy. His liberal response was that he did not want to talk about it.

Obama was elected, the stock market crashed, the economy tanked and the county has had significant lay-offs. Liberals have been more somber and the liberal co-worker has been avoiding any debates about the economy.

The other day a discussion about Obama’s “nationalized health care plan” was initiated with the co-worker. He opined that something had to be done for millions of people that did not have “health care.” When he was challenged that the issue was “health insurance” he acknowledged the difference. When questioned as to who was going to pay for it he avoided the question. When challenged on the breakdown of the 48 million people without health insurance; 12 million illegal aliens, 12 million young who opt out, 12 million who are eligible but chose not to enroll or are in prison, leaving 12 million that actually need it, he was silent. Again the question was put to him. With Obama’s $3 trillion budget, $1.8 trillion deficit and $11 trillion projected deficit for the next ten years, how did he and Obama propose to pay another $2 trillion for nationalized health care. He responded that he has not seen those figures, considered them “spin” and had “faith” in Obama. Simply Pathetic!

Let’s look at some hard data he refused to consider and that any critical thinker would. First, economic growth from a reduced tax rate is well established. President Harding reduced President Wilson’s 75% wartime tax to 25% which triggered the growth of the “Roaring 20’s.” Presidents Hoover and FDR raised the top tax rate to 94% contributing to the Great Depression. It remained above 90% until JFK reduced it to 70% which resulted in the economic boom of the 60’s. President Reagan cut the top tax rate to 28% which created a “multi-decade boom”. The claim President Bush’s tax cuts slowed the economy is a liberal myth. President Bush inherited a recession and 9-11 from Clinton. The 2002 tax cuts gave us a robust economy for six years with growth in GDP averaging 3.5%-4%.

Second, every administration since FDR’s socialism has significantly increased public debt. Even Clinton increased the debt. The big lie liberals love to repeat is Clinton gave Bush a surplus. The data doesn’t support it. In 1992 the public debt (without obligations) was $4.1 trillion and 56.2% of GDP. In 2000, the economy was in recession, public debt increased to $5.8 trillion but only 39.3% of GDP. In Jan. 2007, the pubic debt was $8.7 trillion and 48% of GDP and the deficit was cut to $162 billion. In Dec. 2008, Democrats and Bush’s refusal to veto spending, gave us a public debt of $10.7 trillion that was 70% of GDP with a $454 billion deficit. In five months Obama has given us a public debt of $11.4 trillion that is 90.4% of GDP and a deficit of $1.7 trillion.

The fact is that the economy started its slide when Democrats gained the majority in Congress in 2007. In the first hundred days of Obamanomics, 41 states reported a 12.8% decline in tax revenues, the federal tax revenues decreased 34% and all 50 states are in recession. The CBO forecasts a $1.7 trillion budget deficit for fiscal 2009 and the national public debt will double over the next 10 years, while Obama underestimates the deficit by $2.3 trillion over the next decade. The CBO also reported that Obama’s deficit will not go below 4% of GDP and will exceed 5%. American households have already lost $1.33 trillion of wealth. The June 2009 unemployment rate is 9.4% and forecasted to exceed 11%. Economist Nouriel Roubini opined the U.S. financial system is effectively insolvent and bond fund managers predict the U.S. will lose its triple-A rating. Democrats and Obama played a major role in creating this severe recession. Now Obama owns it.

The fool behind the curtain has been exposed. My liberal co-worker and his comrades can put their faith in the narcissistic Marxist messiah, government and bigger government. I’ll put my faith in God, the individual and small government.

Comparisons Between What Did Not Work Under President Bush And Works Great Under President Obama:

Crime, Education, Politics, Terrorism, Violence

Now I remember why I switched to politics on the blog….global issues do not interest you guys! Lol…So here it is…

Comparisons between what did not work under President Bush and works great under President Obama:

· Drinking in college by Bush is bad but drug use by Obama is cool… the “audacity of dope!”

· For 20 years and under Bush, attending Rev Wright’s church was OK but once Senator running for the White House, Rev Wright became “The person I saw yesterday is not the person I met 20 years ago.”

· During previous administration, Rezko was a friend. During the campaign, “your contributor, Rezko, in his slum landlord business in inner-city Chicago.” (Dixit Sen Clinton). Once Senator running for the White House, Obama said “This isn’t the Tony Rezko I knew.”

· Tax breaks: they were for the rich under Bush and are OK now that the Obama administration continues them.

· A military surge in Iraq was bad under Bush and the lying General “Betrayus” misrepresented it but it is good under Obama in Afghanistan.

· War on Islam bad under Bush… Muslim countries that are friendly to the US, where US citizens can roam freely and exercise their freedom of speech, religion, sexual preferences, etc…: Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Syria, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Yemen, Egypt, and West Africa, Lebanon…. But President Obama stated that “the U.S. “is not and never will be at war with Islam”

· The Domestic Surveillance law was an attack on our constitutional rights and privacy under Bush but it is OK now for Eric Holder to push Congress for its continuation.

· China’s poor records on Human rights issue were encouraged when Bush attended the Olympic games (dixit Sen Clinton or Pelosi) but “won’t hinder” our economic and political relationship with the Obama administration (dixit State Secretary Clinton or Speaker of the House Pelosi)

· Carrying guns in public parks was a bad idea of the Bush administration but has been signed into law by President Obama.

· Torture is an ugly legacy used and encouraged by the Bush administration but US lawmakers “a la Pelosi” who have known about it since 2002 did encourage it by their silence and complicity. They did not know, were lied to, forgot, did not do anything because it was pointless….whatever…. and President Obama said that he was “Seeking to move beyond what he calls a “a dark and painful chapter in our history,” a time when executive and legislative worked together to achieve results and win a couple of wars.

· Investigating the Bush administration to restore America’s honor is good but creating a bipartisan committee to investigate the many claims from the speaker of the House, Pelosi, that the CIA has lied to and misled members of Congress is just a disturbance to more critical topics…especially when everybody knows that she has been lying on the matter…and if she has not, can one run by me why it is unimportant to prove that the CIA is actually lying and misleading Congress…a pattern that led us to Iraq…an excuse for Bush? A screen smoke from a lying and self serving politician? Come on, on these time of exposing Bush-Cheney evil side, Democrats would have jumped on the occasion and supported the investigation…unless they know Pelosi is lying!

· Harsh interrogation methods were “legalized” by a bunch of “bad lawyers” of the Bush administration and that was not good, but using lawyers to legitimize the incarceration without trial of hard core Guantanamo inmates on US soil is OK as long as it comes from the Obama administration…

· Pork Barrel under Bush was bad but under Obama it is a good thing

· Lobbyist was the plague under Bush but under Obama it is OK… Interests groups involved in that new Green cash cow have increased their lobbying workforce by 300% compared to five years ago…

· And Hiroshima and Nagasaki used to be good and credited for saving hundreds of Thousands of American AND Japanese lives but according to Obama, guilty America should be leading the world to a total nuclear disarmament because –how dared she- America actually used the evil power first.

· And special funding to finance the war was bad under Bush but seems like a good idea under Obama, even when he used to oppose them when Senator.

· And Blackwater and the privatization of war by corporate America was so bad under Bush but ignored today when Blackwater is still protecting State Department officials under a Federal contract.

· And the special military tribunal that were not good at all during Bush and have been restarted by the Obama administration.

· And the “rendition” process that allows America to transfer prisoners to foreign countries, was bad under Bush but upheld by the new administration.

· And the nomination of buddies and contributors as Ambassadors….come on, even the owner of the Steelers got one of these cozy payback post!

· And the announcement of the 150.000 jobs he saved the day when unemployment fell to another record low…oooops…he saved jobs based on what he said we would have lost without him! That’s good non partisan math!

· And finally, $500 billion Federal Budget deficit and two wars were bad under two terms of Bush but $1.84 Trillion deficit –and growing- in 200 days under Obama is cool.

How do you spell Hypocrisy, disinformation?

Obama’s Radicalized America

Crime, Education, Politics, Terrorism, Violence

“The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people; it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government — lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.”… Patrick Henry

Obama is perhaps the most dangerous Marxist we have ever had in the White House. The man has absolutely no roots that bind him to American law, culture and traditions. He was born to a communist mother, abandoned by a polygamist Muslim father and raised by a black Marxist that hated white America and capitalistic philosophy. He cares little for the American economy or culture.

At least the Socialist FDR and the clown Jimmy Carter had established ties to America. FDR’s goal was party power and Carter was just an incompetent idiot. Obama’s end game is more sinister and destructive. He even announced his plan to “re-make” America in his own image and liberal Kool Aid drinkers just follow along like cattle to the slaughter house.

The new Fuhrer sees the US Constitution as a “charter of negative rights” or a document to constrain the individual and not him or his government. It is to be ignored unless it facilitates his agenda. That is why it was easy for him to seize the auto companies and financial institutions in violation of the US Constitution. His arrogant dictatorial ideology made it easy for him to take control of the companies, fire CEO’s and executives, place his administration staff on the board of directors, breach contract law, dictate wages, policies and product. Remember the messiah has announced his intentions on more than one occasion. He told Americans, “We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK… That’s not going to happen.” Pleasing and apologizing to the world at America’s expense is easy if he has no roots binding him to our country.

Like other Marxist dictators the Fuhrer proclaimed he would “spread the wealth” and “return the wealth to its natural owners.” So he simply violates long established contract law and steals the wealth and profit of private investors to transfer it to the government and unions. He orders Chrysler to sell its corporation to Fiat. Why? Could it be that Khadafi owns 3% of Fiat and it is more of his corrupt “Chicago Pay to Play” quid pro quo for the millions of dollars in contributions from terrorist, like Hamas, that Khadafi funneled into der Fuhrer’s campaign?

What should concern even the Kool Aid drinkers is that the messiah said he will fix it so we never have another economic crisis by preventing another boom. For those educated in the public indoctrination centers and the willfully ignorant, that means he will promote no economic growth and continued economic misery for everyone. Since his election the community organizer has made a shambles of the American economy.

While Obama violates the rule of law with corporate America and innocent infants surviving abortions with ease, he expresses deep concern for the rule of law in dealing with terrorist who want to murder Americans. Der Fuhrer wants to afford US Constitution and Geneva Convention rights to Muslim terrorist that do not meet even the simplest criteria for either. Does he feel more of a brotherhood with these terrorist than Americans?

I recently read an article about Obama’s 84 yr old great uncle, Charles Payne, discussing the lie Obama told about him taking part in the liberation of Auschwitz. I found a comment Payne made about Nazi Germany very ironic. Payne said, “I am puzzled by intelligent people who stand by and allow their country to be taken over and run by extreme radical types. I’m still somewhat puzzled by that. And I am fully aware that it could happen… in this country…”

Yes Mr. Payne, it could and is. For willfully ignorant Liberals who have a rudimentary knowledge of history and wonder how the German people let Hitler achieve the power to destroy their country and society… Look in the mirror!
